It’s officially winter! Even though the weather may be colder, there are so many things that I love to do in the winter! I love playing in the snow with my son and cuddling up with a good book…with fuzzy socks!
During the pandemic this winter, I have been laying low and staying home as much as I can. But, to be honest, I have secretly enjoyed it. I have had more time to put my creativity to use! One of my favorite outlets during this pandemic has been creating digital elementary resources. It makes me so happy to know that I am helping teachers, like you, save precious time by creating these resources.
Below, I have compiled a short list of digital winter resources for elementary students that I have created thus far.. If you are continuing hybrid or distance learning this winter, these digital winter resources will truly come in handy! These digital resources are meant to be fun, engaging, and time saving for YOU! From choice boards to digital sight words, these resources are perfect for elementary students. I hope you LOVE these digital winter resources as much as I do!
Happy New Year!! These digital new year slides are a quick and fun way to get your students thinking about their goals, memories, and hopes for the new year this winter! There are 11 new year themed writing slides in all! A perfect way to reflect and to think ahead! Be sure to check it out here!
Honestly, I am SO proud of this resource! If you are looking for a fun and interactive way to practice and review sight words throughout distance learning- this is it!! This can be used to build on speaking and listening skills too! Use it for classwork, homework, or during morning meeting! On each slide, there is a mitten that has the sight word that the students have to locate within the 9 grid. Once students say the sight word aloud, they will drag and drop moveable transparent circles onto each sight word ( There are 5 sight words to find within each slide). I have also included AUDIO on the bottom corner of each slide for students so they can hear the word aloud. Check it out here!!
WINTER is here!! This Digital Choice board focuses on all things winter!! ( winter sports, hibernation, and more!) All of my digital choice boards are a crowd pleaser!! Your students will LOVE learning about all things winter with this digital choice board! Pick up this digital winter choice board here!
This is a great way to have your students practice and review finding the missing number within a 100 chart. These Digital Winter Math Slides can be assigned in Google Classroom or Seesaw. Great for morning work, classwork, or just for fun! There are 16 Digital Winter Math Slides that focus on finding the missing number. You’re just in luck! Text boxes are already included for students to write their missing numbers. Click here for my Digital Winter Math Slides.
This winter science experiment will be tons of fun for you and your students! This science experiment focuses around the question: “What will make snow melt the fastest?” This is a great experiment to pair with the beloved story by Maureen Wright, Sneezy the Snowman. You can pick up a copy Sneezy the Snowman here. Click here for my Digital Winter Science Experiment.
