Calling all elementary teachers! (Yes, you!) Fall is offically here! When I was a first grade teacher, I loved doing hands on crafts, lessons, and engaging activities. However, I know that many elementary teachers are currently feeling utterly exhausted. To be honest, I feel your pain. Teaching during a pandemic is not easy. Using technology can seem time consuming if you are not familiar with it. But I have some good news! I wanted to share with you some amazing digital resources for fall that will save you TIME. Whether you are in the physical classroom or virtual, these digital resources will engage and motivate your students in a new and exciting way! Here are my favorite digital fall resources that I have recently created. All of these digital resources utilize Google Slides.
Digital Fire Safety
It’s time to learn about fire safety with your elementary students!! I decided to make a DIGITAL resource that will help you ( and save you time!) educate your elementary students about fire safety. This year, fire safety week is: October 4th – October 10th 2020. These digital slides can be done as a whole group or independently. I even added an interactive Google Slide Game with this resource called “Hot or Not Hot?” Check out my digital fire safety resource here!
Digital Halloween Choice Board
Although Halloween may look different this year, it doesn’t mean that your kiddos can’t still have some fun!! Honestly, providing choice is so important- and sometimes that can be tricky while trying to tackle remote/hybrid teaching.
But don’t fret!! I created this ADORABLE and easy to use DIGITAL Halloween Choice Board! Simply use as an assignment in Google Classroom. This works with SeeSaw as well. Your students can use this choice board while in PRESENT mode in Google Slides. The slides are linked. This means, if a student selects choice 4, it will automatically bump them to that slide that discusses the activity associated with Choice 4. Be sure to check out this digital Halloween resource here!
Digital Pumpkin Science Experiment for Fall
This Pumpkin Science Experiment focuses on if it will sink or float in water! It is a fun and easy science experiment for your students to complete this fall! I have updated this resource to now include a DIGITAL option due to distance learning. The digital resource included a version for primary grades ( smiley pumpkin) and upper elementary ( regular pumpkin). I also included some blank templates if you wanted to edit and customize the text that is shown. Please note, the images, boxes, and titles cannot be edited. Scoop up this adorable science experiment here!
Digital Fall Math Slides – Part Part Whole
Are your students learning about Part, Part, Whole? These fun fall digital slides will motivate your students as they reinforce this math skill! This is the perfect activity for your students to use to practice part part whole. I even created 8 slides that are EDITABLE! You can add as many additional problems as you want. Be sure to check out this resource here.
